Jean Mleczko Obituary
Jean was a 1980 graduate of Harbor Creek High School, and participated in several activities there, including the Cadet Squad, where she made many lifelong friends. She also attended J.H. Thompson Beauty Academy. She was an active member of St. Joseph Church / Bread of Life Community, where she led in the music ministry. Jean was a beloved 22-year employee at Outback Steakhouse, where she served in many areas of the restaurant. She was known for bringing a smile to many people with her faithful Koala companions. Jean loved being a DJ, working at Skate Lodge and Paparelli's, among other places. Over the years, she was in several Christian bands, most recently with Straight Ahead and Harmony's House.
Jean is survived by her daughter: Kelsie Ferry (Michael); two brothers: Thomas Heinrich (Alise) and Ed Heinrich (Valerie); one sister: Patty Menz (Bill); her beloved boyfriend: David "Pilot" Hardinger; a treasured soon-to-be-born grandson, Brantley Michael Ferry; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Heinrich.

Family and friends are warmly invited to call at the Dusckas-Taylor Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 5151 Buffalo Rd. (at Hannon Rd., in Harborcreek Township) on Thursday, June 17th from 6 to 8 p.m. and are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Friday at 1 p.m. at St. Joseph Church / Bread of Life Community, West 24th and Sassafrass Streets. A private interment will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for future charitable contributions.

Jean will be greatly missed. She was an outgoing, amazing woman. We enjoyed playing “bunco “ with her. She had a contagious laugh and loved life. She was a joy to know. There are no words of gratitude adequate enough to express my gratefulness to God for putting Jeannie in my life. She was pure light, pure love, and pure joy. She spread the love of Jesus to every person who crossed her path.
Harmony’s House is grieving the loss of our beloved Jeannie, along with the music ministry at Saint Joseph Bread of Life and Straight Ahead.

Jeannie was a huge influence in my life as a teenager. I have seen her off and on over the years and every time I would see her, it was just like yesterday. Wonderful, warm person and will be missed by all. But it is good to know we all have another angel watching over us all.

Jeannie was an inspiration and friend to all who knew her. She loved the poorest to the richest of all persons in her presence. Jeannie kept me singing with the music ministry when I wanted to fold many times over the past 25+ years of knowing her. I will miss her dearly. Her beautiful singing voice to her humor. Even when she was in pain she was funny. Our Lord took her too soon but now is soaring with the angels and gets to be with her parents and sister once again. Rest in peace my friend.
