1977 - 2021

Jeremy Paul Douglas, 43, of Hubert, N.C. died unexpectedly, on Thursday evening, March 4, 2021, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington, N.C., as a result of a motorcycle accident.

Jeremy was born in Hugo, Colo., on Saturday, September 17, 1977 to Floyd Paul Douglas and Cynthia Louise (Fronzaglia) Douglas-Sedora, who survive.

After completing Girard High School, he went on to proudly serve his country in not only the Marine Corps but also the United States Army. On March 26, 2007 in Erie, Pa., he married, Mrs. Rachel Noel Douglas, who also survives.

In addition to his parents and wife he leaves behind to cherish his memory; four sons, Julien A. Douglas, of Jacksonville, N.C., Dominic M. Shaffer, of Norfolk, Va., Aidan L. Douglas, of Girard, Pa., and Christian S. Maas, of Hubert, N.C.; four daughters, Allegra C. Douglas, of Girard, Pa., Angelina C. Douglas, of Albion, Pa., Suzanna S. Douglas, of Albion, Pa. and Gabriella A. Douglas of Hubert, N.C.; and one grandchild, Jeremy Layne.

He will also be missed by two sisters, Jennifer C. Wagner and her husband Dave of Erie, Pa., Jacqueline L. Marietta and her husband Rick, of Eastampton, N.J.; his brother Joshua L. Douglas, of Girard, Pa.; his mother-in-law Diane C. Schied and her companion Matthew Hrycyk, of Girard, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews.

Jeremy was an avid motorcycle rider and member of a local Motorcycle Club and loved his German Shepard "Angus" endlessly. He also leaves behind countless other family members, friends, and those he met along the way.

At the family's request, there will be private family services at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home in care of the family.

Jeremy will be forever missed by his loving wife, children, grandchildren, parents, brother, sisters, nieces, nephews and many dear friends. May God grant him eternal peace.
