Alberto was the founding pastor of the San Juan United Methodist Church.
Alberto is survived by his wife, Erenie Beatrice Hudson de Pons; children Terry lynn (John Blake), Brian, and Tammy Pons (Will Holloway); sisters, Olga Alicia Pons Gutierrez, and Marta Julia Perez Arriaga; grandchildren, Alberto Gabriel Holloway Pons and Anastassia Enid Pons. Besides his parents, Alberto was preceded in death by one sister, Gregoria Mergar de Morales; and two brothers, Ovidio Mariano Pons Pérez and Salvador Pérez.
Friends may call at the Lakewood United Methodist Church, Rev. Robert Lewis, Pastor, 3856 West 10th Street, Erie, PA 16505, on Saturday, September 9 for a Memorial Service at 2 pm. Arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc.
