I knew Margo earlier in life, and last saw her and family at St. Luke's Church, where my youngest of two(2) daughters was receiving her First Holy Communion. It would have been around 2008. Never knew that Margo was battling cancer, and our last contact transpired way back in 1969. From all indications, she exhibited a great deal of courage and showed tenacity in business dealings, too. I believe that Margo has a place in God's heavenly kingdom.

I think of Margo with fond memories especially on New Year's Eve. When we were 13 years old , her parent's took Margo and I to a New Year's Eve party at one of there friends house. It was out in the country somewhere. I can not even tell you where. Margo and I were the only young ones there. Margo taught me how to play several card and board games. We even got to drink a little champagne at midnight. I remember this evening all my life. When her dad was driving us home, the weather was so bad. I remember him following the telephone poles so he would know where the road was. Margo was not even concerned because she had such faith in her dad. I make a toast to you Margo. Happy New Year in heaven. You will be missed by all. With love and fond memories. Deb

An angel was taken to heaven on the day of 12-26 to help watch over the promised land. Before she had gone she had said to learn & trust. Trust that I am In a better place. And in the summer & winter when the sun shines thats a sign of me shining on your face. It will remind you that I am nearby & I will always be at your side. So when you are feeling down & blue. That sun thats shining is a reminder of me to you!!!!!

I wish I had words to ease your sadness, but for such a loss, there are no words. I send you prayers & gratitude, however, and feel so blessed to have had the chance to re-connect with Margo these last few years. We laughed, she and I, because we could not remember when we had met, we were so young, living on the same street in our small town.
What a beautiful woman that little girlfriend became. A joy. And what a gift to have shared this journey with her. To have known her. An angel, always.

Rick and family,

Heartfelt sympathies for you and your family Rick on the passing of Margo. It was always a pleasure to work with Margo over the past 20 years. Looking back, I can honestly say she NEVER left me without a smile, and more recently when she brought her grandchildren in to pick up material she beamed with joy the most! (was teaching them manners too) "TOO FUNNY" another one of her many expressions I learned from her. She will always hold a dear spot in my heart.

We make a living by what we get - a life by what we give. And give is what Margo did so well. She gave her time, her joy of life, her wonderful sense of humor, but most of all her heart and love to her family and friends. I hope the family will always carry the special moments she created in their hearts and minds and that it helps to ease the pain during this time of sorrow. I am so lucky to have known Margo!

It is so common to say nice things about a person after they have passed. Many people never get the chance to hear these words, but in Margo's situation, she was so easy to be loved and inspired by everyone that she always knew and felt the sentiments as it easily flowed from her heart to yours as well.

Even through all her trials and tribulations these past few months, she focused diligently on trying to ease her loved ones into this transition they would all soon face.

With her family by her side, they fulfilled Margo's wishes to the end. I know they will carry her legacy on in their marriages and child-rearing years ahead. Rick and Margo's children and grandchildren could not possibly have a better marital guide to follow. As I remember reading a framed work of art on their wall "When one of us cries, the other tastes salt" is one of the many loving words they lived by.

Margo...thank you for being more than a friend to all of us and leaving us with the greatest of memories. We will miss you terribly, resisting the temptation to call you, text you, email you, visit you, ask your decorating advice or for another yummy recipe, but rejoice in knowing you are living painlessly as one of Heaven's spunkiest angels.
