I remember your Father as such a distinguished man. He was so kind and calm, and he was quite creative and generous. His life was so honorable. He and your Mother gave three beautiful children to the world.

Emily, Mary Jane, Rich and your families:

There is such a deep sadness knowing that your dear Father has died. It is hard to even begin to talk about all of the memories since we grew up knowing your parents and had the good fortune of seeing them most of our lives. There was such an obvious respect between our Fathers as they worked as partners at St. Vincent....I can still hear them laughing and have vivid memories of your Father playing the piano in our living room on Cherry Street---always at my Father's insistence. Your parents really were very special people----no matter how old we were or when we saw them they were always interested in our lives and always so glad to see us. Your Mom and Dad really embraced all of life and had such a positive impact on all they did but, most of all, their love for the three of you was always evident.

We regret that we are not in Erie and were unable to see each of you in person. It is really hard to adequately express our respect and fondness for both of your parents. Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time. We know your Father is truly at peace but he will be greatly missed.

To the Eisenberg Family - my deepest sympathy for this great loss. Your dad was my very first boss -out of high school 1954. He was a good man to work for and he gave me many opportunities to expand my personal knowledge. I went on to many positions at Saint Vincent thanks to him. My husband and I also were in opera and chorus for many years and our paths would often cross with the Eisenberg's in the audience. Richard I wonder if you remember coming to your dad's office where I would entertain you while your Dad was busy. You loved to pretend typing on my old manual typewriter. Many fond memories; He will be missed. Lucille and Fred Sitzler

Rich, Emily and Mary Jane,

Well - I loved your dad - I think he was the greatest thing since sliced bread! We spent many many days and evenings together; me driving and him talking about wanting to drive. He loved the water, chocolate and ice cream & talking about way back when but most of all he loved your mom. I know he is so excited to be with her again. He and I always got along famously and I truly adored him. He will be missed.

My sympathies for the loss of this wonderful life.
