Dear Walter & Carol,
It is with a heavy heart that I learned of your son's passing. As you may know, I'm an animal rescue driver between you and Peg, and I know Walter picked up many of the dogs who were headed to your rescue.
I understand this week was extremely hard for all of you, and I wish I could do or say something that would ease that pain. I just want you all to know I am here in any way to help, just as you have always been for those in need of rescue. Although I've never met Walter personally, I am forever grateful he was always there to get the fur babies onto you. Altough no words will comfort you in the loss of your son, his good heart and deeds will always be remembered and cherished.

Walter was one those unique people that have a balance in life, enjoying a large array of the fullness of life. Rarely had I ever seen him get disappointed, he would always take everything in stride (a good example for me). I'm sorry for your loss. I'm sorry to hear I've lost a friend.
