Frances Casciole Obituary

Frances Fattorini Casciole, 94, of Palmer Township, PA devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 25, 2025 with her family at her side.
She was the wife of the late Nicholas Casciole.
Frances was the daughter of the late Frank Fattorini and Anna Filippo Fatttorini.
Frances was born June 10, 1931 in Brooklyn, New York.
She was a dedicated wife and stay at home Mom to her four children, a role she cherished. She found joy in taking care of and nurturing her family and her home, which was filled with love, music, food, laughter and family. When family gathered there was always live Italian music and singing.
Frances loved sharing her strong Catholic faith and spent her later years involved in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal. She led weekly prayer meetings at Saint Jane's Church, where she was a member, and was a member of the Allentown Diocesan Advisory Board.
Sharing her love of Jesus, she instilled in her children unwavering faith and love of family.
Her family moved to Palmer Township when Frances started high school, where she graduated from Wilson High School, class of 1949. Having been a city girl, she knew nothing about cheerleading but she dared to try out and was so proud to make the squad. One of her most cherished memories was becoming squad captain in her senior year.
It was at Wilson High School that she met the love of her life, Nicholas.
He always shared the story that the moment he laid eyes on her he knew he was going to marry her. Upon telling Franny this her reply was "no way!"
They were married on January 14, 1950 and were blessed to share 55 years together until his passing in July 2005.
It eases our sorrow to know that she is now reunited with the love of her life and with her Savior! PTL!
Frances is survived by her loving children, Marianne Casciole Micci and husband Paul of Bethlehem Township; Jude Casciole of Palmer Township: Teresa Casciole Daiello and husband David of Palmer Township; and Donna Ott Casciole of Hellertown; 10 grandchildren: 18 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by her parents, husband Nicholas, son Leonard and daughter in law Alona; Sisters Marie Sedote Micci; Lucy Piccione; Rita Lamonica and brother Louis Fattorini.
In accordance with her wishes, services will be private and arranged by the Finegan Funeral Homes of Phillipsburg & Alpha. Visit www.fineganfh.com.
Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the charity of your choice.

It has been many years since I have seen Franny and Nick. She was a good lady. I doubt very much that you would remember me. I would join you sometimes with Sunday family gatherings and how we would eat in the basement and have one good time. I wasn't a priest then. We also would gather by the pool on Sundays as well. But when I left some 40 years ago. My life as a priest took me all over the world. But, I never forget my roots. I remembered Fran and her faith in God and the love she had for the Church.
I will remember Fran in my prayers and will celebrate a mass in her honor. God bless you all.
