Freida Adkinson Obituary
Freida Gennell Adkinson, 83, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Thursday, September 23, 2021, at Heritage Health Care & Rehab in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Graveside services were held Monday, September 27, 2021, at 11 A.M., in Memory Gardens Cemetery. The Rev. Chris Toole officiated with Chapman Funeral Home directing.
Born September 19, 1938, Mrs. Adkinson was the daughter of the late Ruby Shephard and Howard Cuthbert Benton, Jr. She was a member of South Point Church. She was preceded in death by her husband William Earl Adkinson.
Survivors include 2 sons: Tim (Penny) Adkinson of Northport, Alabama and Rodney (Mitzi) Adkinson of Indianapolis, Indiana; 3 grandchildren: Lynn (Brent) Blankley of Northport, Alabama, Charles (Rosie) Adkinson of Washington, Indiana, Hannah (Chris) Maloney of Indianapolis, Indiana; 8 great grandchildren: Breanna, Grayson, Asher, Beckett, Victoria, Charlie Rose, Evie, and Collins.
