Carroll Riebling Obituary

YORK SPRINGS Carroll E. Riebling, 57, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2010, at his home. Born September 20, 1952, in Hanover, he was the son of the late Robert E. and Grace M. (Strausbaugh) Riebling. Carroll was employed as a mason in construction and restorations and WAS also employed part-time with York Springs Auto Auction. He enjoyed farming and was a member of the Adams County 4-H, the American BOER Goat Association, and the Teamsters Union of Central PA. Surviving are a daughter, Rebecca D. Emlet and her husband, Jason of Hanover; two sons, Matthew A. Riebling of Hanover and Cole E. Riebling of York Springs; and one grandson, Jensen T. Emlet. A memorial service celebrating the life of Carroll Riebling will be 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Wetzel Funeral Home and Crematory, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover, with the Rev. Jack R. Hoffman officiating. The family will receive friends 6:30 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be private in Marburg Memorial Gardens.
