Christine Little Obituary

HANOVER Christine M. Little, 47, loving wife of Fred L. Little of Hanover, entered into God's eternal care Sunday, September 30, 2012, at her home. Born June 24, 1965, in Hanover, she was a daughter of Daniel J. and Blanche E. Prokop Groft of Hanover. She was a 1983 graduate of Hanover Senior High School and was an employee of Sonoco Products Company. Mrs. Little was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Amvets Post #22, the Fraternal Order of Eagles-Aerie #1406, the McSherrystown Lodge #720 Loyal Order of the Moose, and the McSherrystown Fish & Game Association. Surviving, in addition to her parents and her husband of 28 years, is a daughter, Ashley Little and her companion, Brandon Klouser; three grandchildren, Alyssa, Brandon and Dominic; one sister, Judy Clingan and her husband, Rick; three brothers, Daniel Groft and his wife, Kelly, Mark Groft and his wife, Wendy, Scott Groft and his wife, Michelle; three step-children, Amy Heine and her husband, Kurt, and Jennifer and Joseph Little; five step-grandchildren, Jaxon, Skylar and Lula Heine, Damien Kane, and Amber Kocher; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at 7 p.m., Wednesday at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover, with The Rev. Ralph G. Eib officiating. The family will receive friends at a viewing to be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be held privately at Christ Church Cemetery in Littlestown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society; 924-N Colonial Ave.; York, PA 17403.
