To Sandy and all your family, We were so saddened to hear of George's passing. I think he was doing something dear to his heart. There are so many memories we have of early years, since my mother and I visited with the family many times in my childhood and teens. I remember the sweet, blue-eyed blond who had such a sunny disposition-and following his life in baseball, college, your wedding, which was so beautiful, and then his being a community leader. I am sure you are so proud, and I'm sure everyone feels a great sense of loss. Our heartfelt sympathy to all of you. Love, Barbara, Phil, Jan and Chris Pfeiffer

We're so sorry to hear of George's passing. I had just been thinking of him, as we live in Vero Beach, Fl, and there is talk of the Baltimore Orioles coming here for spring training, after the Dodgers leave. So sorry again, for a tragic end to a seemingly busy and productive life. Our sincere sympathies to all. Sue (Repscha) and Ron Schrager
