Hanover, PA - Joyce Ann Strong, 81, of Hanover, PA entered God's eternal care, Friday, February 19, 2021 at UPMC Pinnacle Hanover.

Born February 25, 1939, in Evansville, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Elton and Marie (Floyd) Davis. Joyce was the loving wife of Charles R. Strong, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage.

Joyce was a 1956 graduate of Bosse High School in Evansville, Indiana. She went on to attend Evansville College, earning her Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology. Joyce had a successful career as a Medical Technologist, eventually working at Hanover Hospital until retirement.

Joyce was very passionate about studying Genealogy as a hobby, which led to a joy of traveling to further explore those familial lineages. She also enjoyed knitting, reading, and spending time with her loving family.

In addition to her loving husband, Charles, Joyce is survived by her children, Eric D. Strong & wife Andrea of Hanover, PA, and Matthew G. Strong of Walnut Creek, CA. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Douglas, Colleen and Rachel. Joyce was preceded in death by her sister Sharon (Davis) Powell and her brother Wayne Davis.

A graveside service to celebrate and remember Joyce's life, will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, on Orchard Road, Spring Grove, PA. Viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 6-8 PM, Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA 17331.
