Kathleen Luckenbaugh Obituary

NEW OXFORD Kathleen M. (Bemiller) Luckenbaugh, 77, died Wednesday, January 4, 2012, at the Brethren Home Community. She was the wife of Lawrence W. Luckenbaugh. She was born November 20, 1934, in Hanover, the daughter of the late Clarence and Geraldine (Parr) Bemiller. The family wishes to share the following verse, which holds special meaning: Proverbs 31 25-Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. 26-She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. 27-She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. 28-Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. In addition to her husband Lawrence, Kathleen is survived by a son, Kelly L. Luckenbaugh and his wife, Audrey of New Oxford; two granddaughters, Alyssa Hartlaub of Hanover, and Amie Luckenbaugh of New Oxford; and a sister, Patricia Black of N.C. She was predeceased by a brother, Gilbert Bemiller. Funeral services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincolnway West, New Oxford, is in charge of arrangements. Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com

Sorry to hear of the passing of Kathleen.

It's been so long since I have seen Kathleen, I will always remember her, since her brother Gilbert and I went into the Air Force together under the buddy system and being married to her cousin Martha Reese.
