Mae Kuhn Obituary

BENDERSVILLE Mae Elizabeth Kuhn, 81, died Saturday, November 10, 2007, at York Hospital. She was born April 17, 1926, in Menallen Township, Adams county, a daughter of the late Bruce C. and Viola E. McNiel Kuhn. She was a graduate of Biglerville High School in 1945. She retired from the Mechanicsburg Naval Depot. Mae was a member of the Bendersville United Methodist church and was in charge of the Prayer Chain, and the Gettysburg Chapter No. 393 Order of the Eastern Star. she is survived by two sisters, Mary Alice Thomas of Bendersville and Wanda Louise Helwig of Harrisburg; three nieces and two nephews. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Wenksville Cemetery, with the Rev. James R. Speelman officiating. Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 S. main St., Bendersville, is in charge of arrangements.

Mae was a wonderful person. I have many fond memories of her and will always cherish our friendship and the kindness that she (& Mary) passed on to me, my children and grandchildren. Rest in Peace Mae.
