Philip Nicholson Obituary

Philip Anthony Nicholson, 63, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2005, in a Hot Springs, Ark., hospital. He was the husband of Linda Nicholson. Born Dec. 24, 1941, in Hanover, he was the son of the late Gerald L. and Helen M. Staub Nicholson. Mr. Nicholson was a retired U.S. Air Force Major and was a member of Christ of the Hills United Methodist Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Daniel A. Nicholson of Ponca City, Okla., and Jeff and Tracy Good of Orland Park, Ill.; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Annemarie and James Hooge of Boerhne, Texas, Diane Nicholson of Brown County, Ohio, Donnalyn and Warren Flood of New Haven, Ind., and Allison Good of Alexandria, Va.; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Francis and Kathy Nicholson of York and Michael Nicholson of Gettysburg; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Rita and Lavern Weaver of McSherrystown and Anne and Jim Flynn of Glenville, W. Va.; and five grandchildren. A service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in Christ of the Hills United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ann Harrison officiating. Arrangements are by Caruth Village Funeral Home, Hot Springs, AR. Memorial contributions may be made top Christ of the Hills United Methodist Church, 700 Balearic Road, Hot Springs Village, AR 71909.
