Steven Henry Obituary
Hampton - Steven P. Henry, 59, entered into God's eternal care Thursday April 19, 2018 at his home surrounded by family. He was the husband of Sherry E. (Gruver) Henry to whom he was married 30 years.
Born April 3, 1959 in Hanover, he was the son of the late Patrick H. and Marlene A. (Rohrbaugh) Henry.
Steve was employed at SKF Industries in Hanover. He was a graduate of Bermudian Springs High School, a member of Mountain Top Ministries in Orrtanna, Hanover Home Assoc., and McSherrystown Fish & Game Assoc. Steve was an avid Jeff Gordon - NASCAR fan and enjoyed fishing, crabbing, gardening and especially spending time with family and friends.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two daughters, Tiffany Henry of Orlando, FL and Amber Henry of Gettysburg; three siblings, Debra Riggleman and companion, Mike Bowman of East Berlin, Tammy Miller of Hanover and Jonathon Henry of McSherrystown. He was preceded in death by a sister, Sherri Wetzel.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Murphy Funeral Home, 501 Ridge Ave., McSherrystown, with Pastor Kenneth Reid officiating. Burial will be private. Friends and relatives will be received 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
