Vlado Divkovic Obituary

Vlado Divkovic, 45, gave his soul to God on Sunday, April 2, 2006, at his home. He was the husband of Lija (Dzogaz) Divkovic, his wife of 14 years. Born October 8, 1960, in Bosnia, he was the son of Marko and Tomka (Mijatovic) Divkovic of Bosnia. He was previously employed at Tim-Bar Corporation in New Oxford and Utz Potato Chip Company in Hanover. Mr. Divkovic was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hanover. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons, Antonio Divkovic and Danijel Divkovic, both of Hanover; two brothers, Stjepan Divkovic and Bono Divkovic, both of Bosnia; one sister, Nevenka Babic of Bosnia; and numerous relatives and friends. The family of Vlado appreciates the support they have received from the First Baptist Church in Pineville, La., upon their arrival from Bosnia, as well as the support from Christ's American Baptist Church in Spring Grove and St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hanover. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5055 Grandview Road, Hanover. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Hanover. Friends and relatives will be received Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Murphy Funeral Home, 501 Ridge Ave., McSherrystown. Memorial contributions may be made to the PanCan, 2141 Rosecrans Ave., Suite 7000, El Segundo, CA 90245.

I worked with vlado at utz, we became good friends we shared alot of laughs together. whenever we saw each other in public, he would make sure he would stop me to say hello and chat with me. he will be greatfully missed by myself. i know that his life in the everafter will be a great one living with god. i will miss you vlado, your friend forever, shawn
