Alma McGuire Obituary

Alma Zona Mcguire passed away Thursday, June 18, 2009 in the Pawhuska Hospital. She was 99 years old.
Mrs. McGuire was born March 30, 1910 in Waleetka, Oklahoma, the daughter of Alvin and Sylvia (Draper) Stanbaugh. On October 1, 1927, she married James D. McGuire in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death October 12, 1991.
Survivors include: Her sons, Jack McGuire and Jim McGuire; Her grandchildren: Lynn Star (McGuire) Holloway, Phil McGuire, Marilyn McGuire, Marcia Marshall, and Chris McGuire; Her great grandsons: John Star Bighorse and Michael Lookout; A niece: Patsy Ruth Smith; And a host of other family and friends. Mrs. McGuire was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lisa Ann McGuire.
Graveside services will be held Monday, June 22, at 10 a.m. in the Pawhuska City Cemetery. Rev. James Hager will officiate. Interment will follow.
McCartney's Johnson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
