Debra Kay Gamwell

1978 - 2013

Debra Kay (Casillas) Gamwell, 35, of Bartlesville, went to rest peacefully as Godís child in her eternal home and new, perfect body on October 31, 2013 after a long fight with complications from childbirth.
She was born in Tulsa, OK to Lisa Leigh Casillas on August 10, 1978. Debra attended Union High School. She married Daniel Gamwell on May 12, 2007 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Debra lived a vibrant and active life surrounded by family and friends to whom she showed immeasurable love. She was a wonderful mother, wife, and an inspiration to many, encouraging others through exercise, yoga, gardening, cooking and art. Debra was a member of Humble Road Church.
Debra is survived by her husband, Daniel and children, Esme, 6, and Ella, 17 months; sister, Jennifer Kuykendall and grandmother Wanda Jones of Tulsa, along with a host of other family members and friends.
Debra was preceded in death by her mother, Lisa Casillas.
In lieu of flowers, donations for her daughters Esme and Ella may be made to the Bank of Oklahoma in the care of Daniel Gamwell.
The family will be receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, November 4, 2013 at the funeral home. Services for Debra will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at the Oklahoma Wesleyan University Chapel with Reverend Jeff Wickham officiating. Internment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
