Jerry Lee Parker

1958 - 2014

Jerry Lee Parker, 56, died Sunday morning at his son's home with family at his bedside. Jerry was born February 14, 1958 in St. Louis, MO. He spent his childhood in the Ochelata/Bartlesville area. He enlisted in the U.S. Army while in high school and served his country for six years receiving an Honorable discharge.
After leaving the Army, he became self-employed, then employed by Well's Food. His last employment was with the State of Oklahoma where he was a Cleet Certified Correctional Officer for 18 years at Hominy, OK. His service was ended by the terminal illness, Multiple Sclerosis.
A memorial service will be Wednesday, July 23, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at Spirit Church, 900 S. Dewey, Bartlesville with Pastor Dr. Darryl Wootton officiating.
Survivors are his wife Sonja Peck Parker of the home, son Jeremy Parker and wife Sasha, Dominic and Anastasia; his daughter, Jenni with Leo Walker, Izaiah, Xavier, Gabriella and Maria; his mother, Joyce Parker of Dewey and his father, Jimmy Jump of Bartlesville. His in-law's Roy and Gerry Peck, Bartlesville and a host of family and friends.
Cremation is under direction of Stumpff Funeral Home and Crematory of Bartlesville.
