Ruth Green

Ruth Walker Green, 91, died Saturday morning in Bartlesville.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday in the St. Luke's Episcopal Church with Rev. Dr. T. Lee Stephens officiating. Funeral services will be directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.

Ruth Walker Green was born on July 30, 1919 at Pasadena, California the daughter of Glenn and Alice (Howell) Walker. She was raised in Pasadena and graduated from Pilgrim Bible School. She also graduated from U.C.L.A. with a Bachelors Degree in Music Education. She had worked as an assistant for an Ophthalmologist for several years. She taught at the El Monte Pilgrim School for several years. She married Paul C. Green on July 28, 1950 at Pasadena. After her marriage she taught music for the Pasadena City Schools for two years. Later she taught for the Pasadena Christian School, while living in Pasadena she had been a church organist and choir director for the Pasadena Wesleyan Church for many years. She then worked with her husband in their real estate business as a bookkeeper. She was a member of the Glenkirk Presbyterian Church in Glendora, California.
Ruth is survived by her husband of the home, one son, Lauren Green and his wife Juanita of Bartlesville, two daughters, Marilin Turner of Glendora, California and Marjori Rowley of Rancho Cucamonga, California, one sister, Deborah Trowbridge of San Dimas, California, and seven grandchildren.
