Shawn Addison Miller
Shawn Addison Miller, 28, passed away on October 31, 2020, in Tulsa, OK, after being murdered by a gunshot.
Shawn was born Eric Desean Swinson French at the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, MA, to Bernadette (Bunny) Swinson and Eric French on May 4, 1992. Due to unfortunate circumstances, Eric/Shawn was placed into foster care.
In April 1998, Eric was adopted as Shawn Addison Miller to William (Bill) Addison Miller and Charyl Jo Miller/Armstrong, living in Caney, KS.
Shawn would finish high school through Job Corps Center in Tahlequah, OK. Shawn worked a variety of jobs in Boston, MA and Tulsa OK, Shawn has worked as an auto mechanic, dog walker, construction, cook, sales, and a variety of short-term employment. Shawn would, at times, find himself homeless but would always find a way to survive. Shawn even participated in underground fight clubs in Boston.
Shawn was preceded in death by his grandparents and stepfather Dennis Armstrong.
Shawn/Eric is survived by two children Shadow and Anastasia. Biological mother, Bunny, biological sister, Ashley, both of Boston. Shawn also was adopted into a family with many brothers and sisters: Jeff, Holly, Timmy, Jay, Leah, Patty, and Kevin. Later stepbrothers and stepsisters, Jason, Katie, Peter and Lisa, Kyle and Chelsey. And numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on December 12, 2020 at the Westminster Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Bartlesville, OK at 11am. Please wear your masks.
