Thomas Riley Obituary

Thomas J. Riley, 76, of Nowata, passed away Friday, February 25, 2011 at Jane Phillips Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, at Stumpff-Nowata Funeral Home Chapel in Nowata, OK. Interment will be held at the Ball Cemetery in Childers, OK.
Tom was born July 10, 1934 in Nowata, OK to Thomas and Lettie (Woods) Riley. For most of his life he lived in Nowata working as a construction laborer, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends as well as mowing yards for many people in Nowata.
Tom is survived by three daughters: Connie Minney and husband Raymond of Maramec, OK; Kathy Rowley and husband Larry of Copan, OK; Jan Moore and husband David of Sapulpa, OK; and one stepson: Chester Stark. Three brothers: Richard of Delaware, OK; George of Nowata, OK and Bill of Lawrence, KS. Five sisters: Juanita Moody and Mary Smith of Nowata, OK; Georgia Creason of Texas; Deloris Cain of Copan, OK; and Jessie Ellis of Bartlesville, OK. Six grandchildren: Mike Minney, Christy Summers, Lori Buchanan, Brian Rowley, David and Kimberly Moore. One step grandson: Austin Stark. Five great-grandchildren: Megan and Taylor Summers; Aubrey Buchanan; and Harmony and Israel Moore. Two step great-grandchildren: Summer and Josh Jeffries.
He was preceded in death by both parents; wife Linda Stark Riley; sisters Katherine and Janie; and brothers Kenneth, Billy, Herbert and Hubert.
Arrangements are under the direction of Stumpff-Nowata Funeral Home.
