Sara and Ben, my sympathy to you and your families. I worked with your Mom at Maple Park MS. She was a spitfire! She was our friend, mentor, sometimes defender and "Mom" . A pioneer in technology, she taught many of us how to use our first computer and how to order it! We all have fond memories of Bev. If you search on Facebook you will see two different threads of memories from North Kansas City folks who knew her, one under my name, Connie Glass Beeck and the other under her name because the obituary was posted for her NKC friends. Respectfully, Connie Beeck

Ben and Sara,
My thoughts go out to you and your families. I worked with your mom at Maple Park Middle School. I taught 7th grade Social Studies and along with my students spent at least 6 weeks of the year in the computer lab with your mom. I travelled to a tech conference or two with her and when she retired I was privileged to follow in her footsteps as the computer/technology teacher at MPMS. I have fond memories of your mother and think of her often. Todd Beeck, retired teacher.

Sending thoughts and prayers to your family at this time. I was a student of hers at Maple Park Middle School and later worked with her at Park University. She will truly be missed.

Beverly Bohn was my 6th grade teacher at Ravenwood Elementary School and my Professor at Park University. She was one of my favorite teachers. She helped her students on both the elementary and college level to engage in the learning process. I feel as though I am a better off for having known her. Thank you & God Bless, Mrs. Bohn. Sincerely, Mary M. (Gibson) Giovagnoli
