Dennis Heard Obituary
A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 5, at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, Mo.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 6, at the chapel with burial to follow at Mound Grove Cemetery.
Dennis was born January 13, 1947, in Haynesville, La., to Chester and Emma Heard. In his retirement, he enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Anna (Wade) Heard; one daughter, Theresa L. Lyon (Dave); three sons, Dennis W. Heard Jr. (Kim), Jonathan R. Heard and Stephen Heard; mother, Emma Ruth Heard; three siblings, Sheila, Kim and Jack; as well as nine grandchildren, Ashley Young (Christian), Matthew Lyon, Jessica Lyon, Nick Lyon, Nathan Heard, Amber Heard, Katie Heard, Abbie Heard and Jesus Reuscher.
