Jane, I was so surprised to receive notice of David's death. He was such a good, gentle man, with a great love for people, for the church, and for his Lord! I enjoyed working with him in the Pilot Mountain Baptist Association when I was there. My deepest, heartfelt condolences to you and your family!

David and I were classmates and mutual trouble makers together at Gardner-Webb. In Winston-Salem he was of great support to me. He is loved and missed.

Jane,
I have just read of David's death. I am shocked. I followed him weekly through the columns he wrote in the newsletter of FBC-Fayetteville. I was aware that he had travelled to Houston for treatment and anticipated his next column reporting of his experience. The column did not come from his pen but our faith assures us that he has experienced complete healing now that he has joined my mother and others around the throne of the Great Physician. Please know of my prayers for comfort for you and your family.
