Mabel M. Everett

PARKTON - Ms. Mabel Virginia McMillan Everett, 98, of Parkton, died Thursday Dec. 19, 2013, in Highland Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lumberton. She was born Oct. 23, 1915, to the late Neill Angus and Maie Chason McMillan. A graveside funeral service is scheduled for Sunday Dec. 22, 2013, at 2 p.m. in Green Springs Baptist Church cemetery. She is survived by sons, James Elbert E. Everette Jr. of Hope Mills and Mac Everett and his wife, Toni of Ormond Beach, Fla.; daughter, Sue Neill Schell of Goldsboro; son-in-law, Gilbert Taylor of Parkton; grandchildren, Debbie Custer and Billie Sue Mathias of Goldsboro, James E. Everette III of Wilmington, Dean Everette of Hope Mills, Teresa Flanagan and Patricia Kelder of Ormand Beach; great grandchildren, Jonathan Everette and Megan Everette Barbour of Wilmington, Austin Everette of Hope Mills, Daniel and James Mathias of Goldsboro, Brittany Faye Smith and Caitlynn Virginia Stone Bloom of Goldsboro, Molly and Brendan Flanagan of Ormand Beach and Anna and Megan Kelder of Ormand Beach; great-great-grandchildren, Garrett Stone and Madelynn Smith of Goldsboro; brothers, Tim McMillan and Kenny McMillan of Parkton; sister, Myra Hagan of Parkton; and many nieces, nephews and cousins that were dear to her.
