Nancy Autry Obituary

Nancy McCaskill Autry FAYETTEVILLE - Mrs. Nancy McCaskill Autry, 95, of Fayetteville passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2018. She was a native of Fayetteville and the eldest daughter of seven children. She was lovingly called "Sister" by many who knew her. Nancy graduated from Massey Hill High School. She enjoyed traveling and loved reading. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Robert Kent Autry and wife, Pat of Charlotte and Richard Sutton Autry of Fayetteville; daughter, Virginia "Missy" Best and husband, Frank of Goldsboro; a sister, Margaret Carpenter of Fayettville; a brother, David Lee McCaskill and wife, Margaret of Fayetteville; a sister-in-law, Jonice McCaskill of Titusville, Fla.; four grandchildren, Alexandria Keilen and husband, Jeff of Charlotte, Virginia Best, Sara Best and Frank Best, Jr. all of Goldsboro; and two great granddaughters, Vivienne and Elise Keilen of Charlotte. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Autry, two brothers, two sisters and her son, Jay Autry passing away a few hours prior to her. Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother and she will be greatly missed. A memorial service for Nancy and her son, Jay will be held at 2 pm Sunday April 22, 2018 in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Archie Barringer officiating. Services entrusted to Rogers and Breece Funeral Home.

Dear Autry and Keilen families- I only got to meet your grandmother a handful of times but remember what a lovely lady she was. Thinking of you and your family during this difficult time.
