Resident of Irvington Fremont District
Born Marie Louise Holdner to Joseph Karl Holdner and Mary Marie Holdner (Marty). She was born in Irvington, CA, lived in Hayward as a child and moved to Newark, CA when she married William Antone Betschart. Then returning to Irvington to live the rest of her life. She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Marie Holdner, father Joseph Karl Holdner and brother Joseph Karl Holdner.
Marie was granted her wish of passing away quickly. Marie is survived by her husband William Antone Betschart, her son Steven Willam Betschart and her grandchildren.
Marie was a great wife and mother, she loved to garden and enjoyed watching the birds and the butterflies. She loved going to Oakland A's baseball games and taking care of her home. She will be greatly missed!
At Marie's request, no services will be held.
Remembrances can be made to Gareway for Cancer Research, 1336 Basswood Rd., Schaumburg, IL 60173. Please specify that it is for breast cancer.

Dear Uncle Bill, Cousin Steven and Family,
I was greatly saddened to hear of Aunt Marie's passing. She was a real sweetheart. She always had such a positive outlook on life. I have fond memories of visiting with you and Aunt Marie when I was growing up in Manteca. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Uncle Bill, Cousin Steven and Family,
I very sorry to learn of Auntie Marie's passing.
I will always remember her smile, twinkle in her eyes, the smell of her perfume and most of all her Great Hugs. The Love and Hugs she gave me have made a big difference in my Life. I know Auntie Marie and Daddy are in Heaven together.

I am very sad to hear of Auntie Marie's passing. I will always remember her beautiful smile, cheery laugh and the best hugs a child could receive. I have so many wonderful childhood memories to hold near and dear to my heart including her beautiful Christmas trees. Love to all, Jeanie
