Sharon Arnold Obituary

Attica - Sharon L. Arnold, 80 Attica, passed away unexpectedly in the Carle Hospital, Urbana, IL, on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at 12:50 p.m. following a stroke that she suffered the day before.
Sharon was born in Williamsport, IN on May 7, 1945. She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Betty (Lefton) Brenner. Sharon was raised in Hardin, Montana and in 1962 moved to Attica. She graduated from Attica High School in 1963.
On September 28, 1963, Sharon married Wayne A. Arnold at the E.U.B. Church in Attica.
Sharon first worked as a secretary for the Radio Material Corp. in Attica. After her children were born, she later worked as a teacher's aide at the Williamsport School from 1977-1990. After the children were raised, Sharon began working in the Data Center of the Old National Bank in Williamsport.
Sharon was a retired member of Tri Kappa Sorority. She enjoyed the time she participated in the Follies in Attica. Her family was her main focus and enjoyed the time spent with them.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Wayne A. Arnold of 62 years; two sons, Todd (Lorie) Arnold, Attica; Kelly (Chrysta) Arnold, Williamsport; a daughter, Melissa "Missy" Jean, Attica; a sister, Monica Swift (Keith Robinson), Attica; two brothers, Ronnie Parlier, Lafayette and David Sheets, Salt Lake City, UT; 12 grandchildren, Cody (Joanna) Sichts, Casie (Clint) Farley, Ethan (Taylor) Arnold, Keetin (Alexis) Arnold, Jordan Arnold, Laiken (Wally) Kerst, Britney (Solomon) Hunter, Braxton Arnold, Bentley Arnold, Chelsea Randolph, Clayton Jean and Marlee Stonebraker; 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Deon "Butch" Swift II and a sister-in-law, Ginny Parlier.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Friday, January 2nd from 11:00 a.m. until the service time at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor David Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Cemetery, Williamsport. Memorial contributions in Sharon's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Riley Children's Hospital, Shriners Hospital or Wounded Warriors.
