Charlotte Faye Smith Arnold

Charlotte Faye Smith Arnold, age 77, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026. A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, Charlotte was a woman of Christian faith. She retired from Olan Mills after more than thirty years of dedicated service, where her work reflected her passion for capturing life's meaningful moments.

Charlotte had a deep love for photography and was most often found behind the camera, preserving memories for those she loved. She especially enjoyed black and white photography.

She was an avid Tennessee Volunteers fan and also enjoyed watching WWE, a pastime that brought her excitement and entertainment over the years. Charlotte also treasured time spent traveling with her family, particularly to the beach. It didn't matter which beach-she simply loved feeling the sand beneath her feet and being surrounded by those she loved.

Above all, Charlotte's greatest joy in life was her family. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George A. Smith and Vernie Smith, as well as her brother, Bobby Smith.

She is survived by her children, Tammy (Randy) Crumley, Christopher Arnold, Kim (Charles) Perry; her sisters, Judy Brown and Alma Bradford; grandchildren, Jessica, Courtney, and Ryan; her great grandchildren, Madden, Charleigh, Sam, and Wade, as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
