Christine M. Salzman

Christine M. (Hendricks) Salzman, 64, went to be with her heavenly father on Wednesday, November 12, 2014. She was born in Fond du Lac on February 9, 1950 to Harley and Kathryn (Schmahl) Hendricks.

Chris was genuine. She had a heart of gold that was full of love which she shared with everyone. She had a quiet yet strong and steadfast faith. Chris especially loved her friends. She enjoyed life and lived it every minute of every day. She was the best person anyone could know. Chris especially enjoyed being with her family. They will remember her as being always on the go, living life. She was very special to them and will be missed.

Those that Chris leaves behind are her two children; Michelle Hagen and Tony (Angela) Salzman, her five grandchildren; Taryn, Brea, Reese, Bryce and Sawyer, her seven siblings; Bill (Judy) Hendricks, Barb (Al) Jackan, Tom (Sharon) Hendricks, Ginny (Mike) Butt, Alice (Steve) Marquart, Richard (Darlene) Hendricks, Mike Hendricks and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Katie Hendricks and a nephew, Bradley Jackan.

A visitation for Chris will be held from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Monday November 17, 2014 at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave. in Fond du Lac. A service for Chris will follow the visitation at 7:00 PM with Pastor Rob J. Ramirez presiding. Burial will take place at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Estabrooks Cemetery in Fond du Lac.

Memorials may be directed to Chris' family in her memory.

Christine was our "babysitter" back in the 1960's. Our family lived just down the street from the Hendricks family. Christine was a kind, loving person. To all whose lives she touched--may God comfort you and give you his peace.
