Edwards, Laura A.

Laura A. Edwards, 36 years of W2667 Hwy 49 Brownsville, Wisconsin, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at the University Hospital in Madison.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, LeRoy, WI, with the Rev. Father Thomas Biersack presiding. A visitation will be held on Monday, July 30, 2012, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville and also on Tuesday, July 31, from 9 to 11 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church in LeRoy. Burial will follow the Mass at St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery, LeRoy, Wisconsin.

Laura Anne was born the daughter of Edward J. and Mary T. (Grable) Wondra on September 10, 1975, in Fond du Lac. She was a 1993 graduate of Mayville High School. Laura attended Moraine Park Technical College focusing on Early Childhood Development. On September 23, 1995, she was united in marriage to Brian J. Edwards at St. Andrew Catholic Church in LeRoy.

She had been employed at the Camelot Children's Center in Fond du Lac, where she cared for and loved many many children. She was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in LeRoy. She also enjoyed being a Girl Scout Co Leader. Laura's children and family were her greatest joy in life.

Laura is survived by her husband, Brian and their children, Austin and Brianna; her mother, Mary Wondra of Lomira; and her father and mother-in-law, Royce and Cheryl Edwards of North Fond du Lac; her brothers and sisters, Anne (Mike Robichaud) Wondra of Waukesha; Daniel (Nona) Wondra of Lomira; Dennis Wondra of Atlanta, GA; Richard (Sandra) Wondra of Lomira; Lee (Tami) Wondra of Mayville; John Wondra of Mayville; and Patrick (Gina) Wondra of Waupun; and her sister-in-law, Aileen (Jason) Andrews of North Fond du Lac. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Wondra.

Laura gave the gift of life through being a organ donor and this gift of life will continue on in the lives of others.

We are so sorry for your loss. Laura was my daughter's favorite teacher at Camelot and she truly had a gift with children. It's hard to understand her loss and we can only imagine what you are going thru. Our family will be praying for all of you to find comfort and peace in this difficult time.
