Lynn and family, I can't think of anyone in our entire work group that didn't love and respect Larry. He was very knowledgeable, and very willing to share that knowledge with myself and all young revenue agents. We learned much from him, and we enjoyed his sense of humor. We also enjoyed his generosity, whenever he stopped in, he had money for a doughnut run! One time when I was on a case in Fond du Lac, I ran out of paper. I didn't want to ask the taxpayer for paper, (ask the taxpayer for paper so I could write them a report!), so I called Larry and asked if I could stop by for some of his paper. He of course said yes. I consider myself so lucky to have known Larry and you too Lynn. If we ever get past this pandemic, I hope you will come to an IRS dinner Lynn. It will be wonderful to see you again.

Larry was such a special asset to our office; as a new agent I learned so much from him. He was always willing and had time for mentoring. As a work family we all appreciated his sense of humor. I'm so glad to have read about that hole in one, I bet that was quite exciting for him. Larry always kept us supplied with candy and donuts. He'd say "I'll buy if you fly". I'm in Illinois and will miss his memorial, you are in my prayers and memories of Larry will always remain in my heart.
