Marion Bublitz Obituary

Bublitz, Marion L.

Marion L. Bublitz (nee Bartlett) of Taycheedah passed away peacefully at her home on December 4, 2015 at the age of 84 after a courageous battle with lung disease. She was born August 20, 1931 in Milwaukee to Lester and Loretta (Gruenwald) Bartlett. On March 13, 1954 she married the love of her life, Rodney Bublitz in Grafton, WI.

Marion worked at several companies in Grafton, Cedarburg and Fond du Lac, including, Power Products, Mercury Marine, Model Cleaners, Georgetown Cleaners, The Wharf, and she retired from A to Z Vending.

Whether she was tending to her expansive gardens, baking from scratch for any celebration, spending summer days camping with her family at their favorite lake in Minocqua, sharing a hand-written note to a loved one, volunteering to help others at Mobile Meals, or spending time with her family and friends, she was always full of endless energy and strength. The seeds she has sown have bloomed like her gardens into lasting traditions that will be carried on through her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Rodney Bublitz; three daughters, Pamela (Zbigniew Borkewicz) St. Amant of Sun Prairie, Jennifer Bublitz of Fond du Lac, and Brenda Bublitz of Eldorado; three grandchildren, Brian St. Amant, Eric Borkewicz, and Andrea (Timothy) Schroeder; two adoring great grandchildren, Jack and Emma Schroeder who knew her as Gigi. She also leaves behind life-long, best friend, Alice Russart; a brother, James (Hertha) Bartlett; and sister, Lori (Herb) Evans. She was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.

The family extends a special thank you to Agnesian Hospice and to Krista for her care and compassion the past year.

At Marion's request, there will be no visitation or services. A private service will be held for her family. We are eternally grateful for the time we've shared with her on Earth and are filled with our memories to carry us forward.

Mom, it´s been 7 years today since your passing and not a day goes by I don´t think of you or relive a memory. You were my best friend. Whenever I see cardinals visit in the yard, I believe you and dad are watching over me. Miss you with all my heart.
