Marjorie Sass Obituary
North Fond du Lac - Marjorie L. Sass, 70, of North Fond du Lac, passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at her residence.
She was born on July 14, 1950, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Harold and Valeria Lueloff Behnke. On May 18, 1976, she married Charles Sass at Church of Peace. He preceded her in death on December 13, 1993.
Marjorie worked as a staff supervisor for Brooke Industry. She was a "day lady" at McDonald's (W. Johnson St.) for 19 years. She was a previous member of Eagles Auxiliary. She enjoyed going gambling, family trips to Indiana, Hawaii, Florida, Las Vegas and wintering in Arizona.
She is survived by her daughter, Julie (Troy) Scott of Van Dyne, her granddaughters: Brooke (Levi Boardman) Scott of Wind Lake and Nicole Scott of Van Dyne, her brother Richard (Linda) Behnke of Fond du Lac, her sister-in-law JoAnn Swandt of Azle, Texas, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brothers James Behnke and David Swandt
VISITATION: Friends may call from 4:00 - 6:00 PM on Friday, December 18, 2020 at Kurki Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 31 East Division Street, Fond du Lac. Due to the current order, masks are required.
SERVICE: Private family Memorial Services will be held, with Chaplain Karen Kraus officiating. Inurnment will be held at Estabrooks Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to Hospice Hope.

I am sorry to hear of Margie's unexpected and swift passing and a bit shocked as she seemed to be in such good health and cheer when I last saw her. Margie always had a friendly smile and greeting for anyone and was pleasantly optimistic and encouraging to talk with. As an older (not that much older) cousin she played the teen songs of the day when we visited their family. She always comes to mind when I hear tunes from that time. I know she will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

My condolences to Marges family. The Behnkes were our neighbors in the 60’s. Marge was a caring, friendly person. Always had a smile for you. Their whole family was kind to me. God Bless
