Peter Kober Obituary
Peter P. Kober, 68, of Campbellsport died on Saturday July 20, 2013 at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac. He was born on July 9, 1945 in West Bend the son of George and Benetta Kober. On January 22, 1966, Peter married Gwendolyn J. Morrow in Marshfield. Peter enjoyed the outdoors, coaching Long Lake Little League Baseball, and being a volunteer fireman and EMT for the Campbellsport Fire Department. He was the longtime owner of NSP Graphics.
Those left behind to cherish Peter's memory include his wife Gwen, his daughters Debbie Kober (special friend Adam Jonas) and Angie (Dom) Feucht, his sons Jon (Jenny) Kober and Tom Kober, his grandchildren Brandon , Elizabeth, Tryston, and Colby, his brother Leon (Karen) Kober, his sister Lynet (Larry) Koziol, his sister-in-law Mary Kober, other relatives and friends. Peter was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Dale Kober, and his brother-in-law John Bieri.
A celebration of Peter's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to the Fond du Lac YMCA or the Campbellsport Volunteer Fire Department. Gwen and family. Marvel and I were so sorry to hear of Pete's passing. He has left us way too soon. While he has departed this world, he remains in our thoughts and hearts. Gwen, Debbie, Angie, Jon and Tom... I was so very sorry to hear of Peter's death. My prayers are with you. Gwen, you and Peter were my first 'real job' and I have fond memories of working at NSP with both of you. Peter's jokes made work fun and he will be missed. Dear Gwen and family, my heart and prayers go out to all of you with Pete's passing. He and I spent some pleasant times together in the mid-70s. What a character Pete was! Never a dull moment when he was with a group of people. I am blessed that years ago going to EMT Basic classes he was my partner. A great friendship took place. Dear Gwen and Family, It is with heavy heart that I send this message. Campbellsport lost yet another good man and friend to so many. We will miss him, continue to love him and never forget him. You will heal but it is a slow process which is comforting. He will always be in your thoughts and many times will bring a smile to your faces. Watch for pennies!
