May flights of angels sing thee to thy rest, dear Ruth.

For the members of the Spoerri family - Ruth was a strong supporter in my journey to the permanent diaconate. Even though we disagreed as to the value and necessity of the five-string banjo - her humor and knowledge of church history was greatly valued. Ruth made a special deacon stole for me - a beautifully sewn representation of my banjo. It is an item that I will cherish forever.
Please accept my prayer for you:
Heavenly Father, who with a parents love wipes away our tears and makes all manner of things well, look with tenderness and affection on the members of the Spoerri family who are suffering pain and loss.
Heal their grief, strengthen their faith, help them to understand that all separations, however traumatic, are only temporary and that together with You we will all be young again and all laugh again.
I ask this through Jesus your son.
Amen

Ruth and family I am saddened and thankful both by your loss. Ruth was in my childhood weekly. Sometimes I was admonished, always I was loved .Irv and Ruth were part of my "Village to raise me" I was privileged to know Ruth as a friend later.I look forward to see her once again

My deepest sympathies to the Ruth Spoerri Family. I knew Ruth when I worked at LakeView Place. She was a sweet woman. Many prayers to her family.
