Susan L. (nee Birschbach) Friedrich

Fond du Lac - Susan L (nee Birschbach) Friedrich, 66, entered peacefully into eternal life at St. Agnes Hospital of Fond du Lac on Sunday, November 1, 2020. Susan worked in the grocery industry, retiring from Pick N Save as a deli clerk in 2019. More than anything, she enjoyed her children and adventures with them especially coming to Milwaukee, going to restaurants and visiting historic places , hanging out with her black lab Molly and using her artistic talents for the enjoyment of others and in her home.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Amie (Myrddin) Emrys, Milwaukee, and 2 sons, Jared (Brittany), Waukesha and Ryan, Fond du Lac; mother Jeannine (Hilbert-Kolb) Birschbach; brothers Allan Birschbach and Gary (Jill) Birschbach; sisters, Sharon (John) Anderson, Sandy (Dennis) Isely, Chris (Rick) Pitt, Anita (Phil) Tegen, Jan Molin and Pam (Al) Phelan. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerome L and Bernetta Birschbach and sister Carol (Birschbach) Cawley.

Due to CoVid restrictions, a memorial will be held at a later date. Susie will be remembered for her sense of humor, quite wit, her laugh and the love and pride she had for her children.

Cremation Society of Waukesha is assisting the family.

The Friedrich family wishes to thank the Doctors and Nurses on the CoVid unit at St. Agnes Hospital for their love and compassion.

I first met Susie when she was 8 years old. I was a friend of Sharon's. She was so friendly and outgoing. Several years later she saw me and knew right away who I was. I was impressed. She was still that same bubbly, happy person. I had run into her several times since and she always left me smiling. My sympathy to Susie 's family.

I am so saddened by this news. I worked with Susie in the late 1990's at Pick N Save. She was soo much fun to be around-we had lots of laughs. I ran into her a few years ago at Target and she recognized me right away and we had a nice chat and some laughs . I will always remember her fondly. May she rest in peace and I will keep her family in my thoughts and prayers.

My deepest sympathy to your family on the passing of Sue. She was definitely a person who was always a lot of fun! I worked with her at Country Store and at Pick N Save and I’m so sad she wasn’t able to enjoy retirement longer. RIP Susie ❤
