William Breitag Obituary

Breitag, William L.

William L. Breitag, 90, of West Bend, passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2012, at Harbor Health and Rehabilitation in Fond du Lac.

He was born on May 12, 1922, in the town of Lomira, the son of the late Fredrick and Leona (Lichtenberg) Breitag, and on November 12, 1949, he was united in marriage to Esther Endlich in the town of Wayne. The couple farmed in the Lomira area for 31 years, and in 1998 they moved to West Bend. Esther preceded William in death on September 3, 2005.

William was a member of Peace United Church of Christ in Kewaskum.

Those William leaves behind to cherish his memory include his son, Robert (Barb) Breitag of West Bend; two grandchildren, Angie (Jason) Liegl of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Tim Breitag of Lake Orion, Michigan; two great granddaughters, Kennadie and Sydnie; a sister-in-law, Pearl (Wesley) Darmondy of Allenton, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his wife and parents, William was preceded in death by a sister, Lyla (Roland) Neitzel.

Funeral Services for William will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 22, 2012, at Peace United Church of Christ in Kewaskum. Rev. Eric Kirkegaard will officiate and burial will follow in Theresa Union Cemetery in Theresa.

Relatives and friends may call at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services.

Memorials to Peace United Church of Christ are appreciated.
