Aurele Comeau Obituary
formerly of Fitchburg, MA
Mr. Aurele Daniel Comeau, husband of the late Muriel (Savoy) Comeau of Blacks Harbour NB peacefully passed away at Bobby's Hospice, Saint John NB on May 1, 2013. Born at Richibucto NB on July 24, 1932, he was a son of the late Livian and Anita (Chevarie) Comeau. A loving father, grandfather and companion, he is survived by his children; Perry (Darlene) Comeau of Fitchburg MA, Susan (Michael) Moore of Watsontown PA, Daniel Comeau of Danville PA, Agnes (Ron) Sanville of Winchendon MA, Barbara Comeau of Seabrook NH and Diane Bryce of Fitchburg MA, nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, special companion and friend, Myra Spear of St. George NB and her daughter, Maxine Justason, three brothers; Joseph Comeau of Pocologan NB, Emery (Anne-Marie) Comeau of Pennfield NB and Roger (Denise) Comeau of Pennfield NB, two sisters; Marguerite Cormier of St. Charles NB and Cecilia Chevarie of St. George NB and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents and wife, Aurele was predeceased by one sister, Theresa Deveau and by brothers Zoel and Isodore Comeau.
Prior to retirement, Aurele worked as a Carpenter by trade. He was an avid musician who loved country music. He attended the Sunday Afternoon Jam Sessions at the Stella Maris Hall in Blacks Harbour faithfully and was known to all as an extremely talented Fiddle Player. His sense of humor and smile will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
