Christine Basilio Obituary
of Leominster; formerly of Fitchburg; 62
LEOMINSTER -- Christine M. Basilio, 62 of Leominster was stricken ill and died in her home on April 15, 2014. Christine was born in Fitchburg on July 11, 1951 daughter of George and Muriel (Cormier) Basilio. She was raised in Fitchburg.
For several years she had worked in the family's former market. She was a member of ARC of Opportunity.
Christine leaves her mother Muriel (Cormier) Basilio of Fitchburg, her brother David and his wife Gail Basilio of Fitchburg, two sisters; Brenda Catani of Troy N.H. and Cathy and her husband Carlos Byrne of Merrimack N.H., nieces and nephews Kelly and Adam Basilio, Jared Basilio, Timothy Crabtree, Courtney Crabtree- Satas and Nicole Lehtinen and 2 great-nephews. She was predeceased by her father George and nephew Shaun Basilio. The family wishes to give a special thank you to ARC for their support and enhancing the quality of life for Christine.
BASILIO -- A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 25th at 11:00am in St. Joseph Church, 49 Woodland St., Fitchburg. A Calling hour will be held Friday morning from 9:30 until 10:30am in the Aubuchon-Moorcroft Funeral Home, 132 Woodland St., Fitchburg.
In lieu of flowers donations in Christine's memory may be made to the ARC of Opportunity, 564 Main St., Fitchburg, MA 01420.
