As you rest in peace, with your family in heaven, I am tasked with walking on this earth until my work is done, and as I do, I will always remember you and your goodness. Thank you for everything you were to me and my boys. I Love you, Lisa

I was lucky to have married into his family. He was like an uncle to me. We spent many hours talking baseball, football, sports, and about life in general. You could understand why he raised good sons and grandsons.

Mike and I started work at the Trade school in the same year. He was always a gentleman and he loved his students and his job. After, his retirement he returned frequently for vists. He was a bright spot in the lives of so many. His legacy is the impact he made on both teachers and students alike. He was one of those memorable people everyone was glad to know.

RIP Mr. Mountzuris a guy great man to many. Always had a smile and was glad to see his old students I saw him last week and he said Travis I never thought you would have to pick me up. It was an honor to pick him up and help a man that has helped me and many others become men.

I will miss Mr. Mountzuris. He was the best teacher I have ever had. I thought about him regularly through out my adult life. I will miss him dearly. RIP Monty

The man we consider as our second father in our lives has passed away. He was mine and many (hundreds) of people that learned the skill/trade of welding at Leominster trade. I met him at the age of 14 as a freshman in 1978 at Saxon trade and he was a part of mine and the Houle brothers life since.
Although he was not an imposing figure in size but, he commanded respect, hard work and diligence from each and every student - whether it was a pipe fitter trying to pass a gas certification or a high school student ascending to the next phase. He was a no nonsense old school guy that had boxed and wrestled in his younger days, but loved to pass his skills and knowledge of the welding world. I for one would definitely not be where or who I am without his mentoring, as well as the others who studied under him.
I tried to speak with him regularly as my teacher, friend and mentor on a weekly basis and will truly miss him.

So very sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I worked with him at Leominster Trade and taught English to the same students he was instructing in Welding. He was one of the most dedicated, caring teachers I have ever met. Even after he retired he kept in touch with and was so proud of the accomplishments of his students. He epitomized what it meant to be a teacher and mentor.

I will always remember Mr. Mountzuris as a great teacher and mentor. He taught myself and so many others not just the welding skills to succeed but life skills that helped shape us into good people ! Thanks Mr. Mountzuris and tell my old man I said Hi !!
