FITCHBURG; Ruth F. (Stacy) LeBlanc, 93, died Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Leominster Crossing, Leominster where she had resided for ten years. Mrs. LeBlanc was born in Fitchburg, August 24, 1928, a daughter of Oscar and Eva (Dufort) Stacy and was a long-time Fitchburg resident. Throughout her career Mrs. LeBlanc worked at several firms including Baylin's Furriers and Ames Clothing Store both in Fitchburg and Hunter Sportswear in Leominster before retiring in 1990. Her husband, Arthur J. LeBlanc Jr., died in July 2008. In Ruth's early years, she and her husband dressed up and went dancing every Saturday night at the St. Joseph's Club in Fitchburg. She loved sunbathing at the ocean and at her brother Norman's lakeside camp in Bridgeton, ME. She enjoyed decades of entertaining family, friends, and neighbors around the backyard pool, playing cards and Scrabble and knitting. She leaves three sons, Arthur J. LeBlanc III and his wife Brenda, of Las Vegas, NV, Rene M. LeBlanc and his wife, Alice of Santee, SC, Jeffrey T. LeBlanc and his wife, Jennifer Davis of Hill, NH; her daughter Dawn I. Woodcome of West Boylston; five grandchildren, Carrie LeBlanc and her husband Tony Zagorski, Jill and her husband Michael Savage, Tammy and her husband Lad Lavallee, Beth and her husband Will Platow, Kathryn LeBlanc and five great grandchildren, Amelia Platow, Cian A. Savage, Sophia Lavallee, Caden Savage and Evan Lavallee. She was the sister of the late, Norman Stacy of Dover, NH; Robert Stacy of Fitchburg, Raymond Stacy of New Ipswich, NH and June Schroth of Peterborough, NH.

Funeral services will be held 11 AM, June 1st at the Isabelle & Anderson Funeral Home, 316 Clarendon Street, Fitchburg.
