Kenneth Lynn Gaines
April 1, 1940 - October 25, 2024
Boyne City, Michigan (formerly of Flint, Michigan)

Gaines, Kenneth Lynn – Age 84, of Boyne City, Michigan (formerly of Flint, Michigan), passed away on October 25, 2024. Services will be held at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery Grand Blanc, Michigan, in 2025 (date and time TBD). The family has requested that remembrances be made in Ken's honor to The Salvation Army. Ken was born on April 1,1940 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Doyle E. and Priscilla (Maclin) Gaines. Ken was a 1958 graduate of Hoover High School, and he retired from AC Spark Plug/Delphi after 30 years. He loved the outdoors and when he wasn't entertaining the grandkids and great grandkids, he could be seen at any number of golf courses around Michigan. He is survived by his children, Katrina (David) Gaines of Peoria, AZ, Kelly (Rachelle) Gaines of Petoskey, MI, and Kendra (Scott) Schmidtman of N. Ft. Myers, FL; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister, Vonnie; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Dennis, Damian, Olive, Wanda, and Doyleen.
