Dwight Lee Cubbage

Poinciana, FL

Cubbage, Dwight Lee, 74, of Poinciana, FL, passed away on February 18, 2011. Dwight was born in Dayton, Ohio and moved to Poinciana from Merritt Island, FL. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy and retired from NASA after 28 years as a Quality Control Inspector.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Barbara; son, Dennis (Kathy); daughter, Yvonne and fianc?, Thomas; brother, Paul Joseph Cubbage (Florence); sister-in-law, Sharon Smith; grandchildren, Tabatha and Christine; grandsons, Nathan, Ethan, Nathanael and Andrew; two great-grandchildren, Logan and Myles; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will take place on Thursday, February 24, 2011, 6 pm, at Grissom Funeral Home, 803 Emmett Street, Kissimmee, FL 407-847-3131.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Shrine Burn Center, 3229 Burnet Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45229.

Dear Momma Cubbage and Family, Papa Cubbage was a very special person that touched many lives, a very good man. I feel very blessed to have known him. Knowing this is an extremely hard time for you all I hope you are able to find comfort in all your wonderful memories of him. He was always such a pleasant, positive, suportive person that a had a smile that warmed the heart. I will miss him very much. May the Lord comfort you in this very hard time and always.

Dennis My Family and I are Sorry to Hear about your Fathers Passing . He was a Very nice and Friendly Man that would start up a conversation with a Total stranger and Talk about anything thats a rare quality you don't find much of today and .I'll always Remember his Smile that he Had on his Face every time I saw Him. He Loved Motorcycles and Life and his new Family and He will be Greatly missed by All..But not Forgotten .God Bless You and your Family.
