I met Gary at Westminster College, SLC, UT. He was a very kind person who accompanied me, as my date, to the Sadie Hawkins dance. I have a picture of us in our hillbilly costumes for the dance. :) I have often thought of him over the years. May the Lord continue to give his family and friends comfort and peace of mind.

Gary was my friend at Westminster College in Salt Lake City. We were dorm mates in the Class of 65. Gary was the tall quiet classmate who never said very much but once he sat down at the piano, we all listened. Once Gary teased me for playing only in the key of C, no sharps or flats. I quickly started playing in G, one sharp. Gary, who could play in any key, was not to be impressed. At the end of our senior year Gary sat down at the piano and played beautifully. We were graduating and we all sensed this would be the last time wed get to hear Gary play. When he finished the room exploded with applause and appreciation. Itll never forget that moment. It grieves me to think my friend from so long ago is now gone. But I know hes up there playing, probably in a key filled with sharps and flats. God bless you Gary.

I admired Gary's talent from the time I met him at Westminster College, SLC, UT. He flew from Omaha, NE to SLC three times for rehearsals at his own expense to be my accompanist for my senior recital in 1969. We lost contact but I will always remember his sense of humor and generosity. He drove a VW bug. With him being so tall, it was comical to watch him get in and out of it. RIP, Gary.

Gary and I worked together for over 15 years. He enjoyed working with computers and was a real pleasure to be around. He was a very private person but you knew of his Christian faith.
God Bless

I worked with Gary for many years. He was an awesome individual despite his endless puns. I feel fortunate to have worked with and to have known Gary for as long as I have. He will be sorely missed. Thank you for being you. Rest In Peace Gary.
Your friend and co-worker,
Becky
