Dear Susan,
I am so deeply sorry for the loss of your husband and the kids' father. I can't tell you how deeply saddened I am to hear this news.
You probably don't remember me from the dojo, but I was an avid chair warmer. Isaac was so charismatic and funny. He so quickly was able to lighten any mood and he will be sorely missed.
I have to say this: Sensei "made" me get up in front of everyone (no easy feat for me) and make some speech, I can't remember what. My mind took a total blank. But Isaac gave this huge, reassuring smile and suddenly I was back on track. I will never forget that random act of kindness--one smile in a sea of blank faces.
Nothing I say can ease your pain, but God has you and the kids wrapped in his arms and I pray that life will become bearable for you soon.
Please, if you ever need anything from an ear to somebody to cook, clean, or anything--email me. I can give you my number.
God bless all of you in your time of mourning.

Susan:
You, Isaac, Nathan and Brenna have been a big part of our family. Isaac was Hank's best friend and accountability partner.
We will truly miss him so much in this life, but look forward to seeing him in the next.
Please know we are here for you and the kids and Isaac's memory will live on. God Bless you!
We love you all so much,

Susan, Julia, Mike & Children,
Our family was saddened by the news and sudden passing of Isaac. Our family, especially Jason had the honor of knowing Isaac, especially through their middle and high school years and beyond. What a joy he was, a true friend and inspiration to our children as they grew into young adults. Isaac was a true trooper for the Lord's Army as well as his beloved earthly, United States Army....Isaac will not be forgotten.
Sorrow will slowly pass, but memories are FOREVER. Peace and prayers to you and your families.

Susan and Family,
My family and I were deeply saddned over the news we heard, he was a dear friend and I will miss him dearly. I learned alot from Isaac but one of the things I remember growing up together was he was always fun to hang out with. If there is anything we can do to help let us know.

Mike, Julia, Susan, & Children,
We were profoundly saddened by the passing of Isaac. The only comfort in this is the promise of eternal life with our Lord for His children. Our prayer is that you will soon understand that there isn't anything God allows that He will not soon bring comfort, and then change the heartache to peace and even joy, when you see His purpose in these events. We continue to pray for you at Westside Baptist Church as we hurt with you.

Susan -
You don't know me, but several years ago I first met Isaac at some men's breakfasts with guys from First Covenant Church. His enthusiasm for the Lord and desire to serve Him then was great to behold.
While I haven't had close contact with Isaac recently, I've run into him now & then at the worship services. I had an interesting conversation with his father recently at church when he was visiting from Florida.
May the Lord give you His strength & His sustaining love at this difficult time in your life. I trust that His guidance will be very evident day by day.(Isa. 26:3, Proverbs 3:5-6).
We were out of town all week & I'm sorry that I missed the service yesterday. I'm thankful that Alli (my daughter in law) & Trevor could attend & show support for you & Nathan.

Susan, Nathan, and Brenna, you are in our thoughts and prayers. Isaac was a great person, even though we only knew him a very short time his loving nature, sense of humor, and love and devotion to his family was very evident. Isaac is now your very special guardian angel watching over all of you.

Isaac was a man of integrity and strength. He was the type of person that made others around him better people. The saying it is not about how many years you live, but how you live those years is true about Isaac. He leaves an amazing legacy that will impact many of us forever. I am honored he called me his friend. Isaac will not be forgotten.
