John Coyle Obituary

John M. Coyle

Merritt Island

John M. Coyle, 63, born in Cheverly Maryland August 15, 1952, passed away July 30, 2016. Like his father Charley before him, Jack was a Master of All Trades. Jack leaves a legacy of accomplishments too numerous to mention.

Also like his Father before him, Jack was a Pioneer in the Space Program.  Jack was proud to be part of the Space Shuttle Team from start to finish. Jack enjoyed and was very proficient in fishing, golf, woodworking, and guitar.

Jack will be sorely missed by his family and many friends, but never forgotten.

Unfortunately Jack's life was cut short by a terrible accident.  Jack died a happy man though, doing one of the things he loved, constructing his home.

Jack is survived by his Wife Mary of over twenty five years; sons Zachary and Benjamin (Wiggins); daughter Amy (Dave) Gawlik.

A celebration of Jack's life will be held Wednesday, August 3 at 4:00pm at the Coyle Home on 6210 Crystal Lane, Merritt Island.

We miss you today as much as yesterday. It hasn't gotten any easier not seeing your bight, wonderful smile that light a room.

I will surely miss my friend Jack-we enjoyed many camping trips together and I always looked forward to that morning cup of coffee we shared to that evening cocktail or those fishing trips we took at Kars park. Just an absolute delight of a person whom I admired for not only his many talents but his unwavering commitment to attend to his family. I so admired his playing of the guitar at our gatherings I bought one myself with the hopes of him someday teaching me to play alongside him.
Jack has left us too soon but he touched many and will be forever in our hearts and minds.

I am sorry to hear about Jack - he was a good Mgr when we worked together he always knew what he wanted and as a admin in the Dept - it was a pleasure to work with him. I shall miss him and always remember him in the best possible way.

Jack lived his life as we all should. He loved his wife and children, his family and his friends like a man in love with life. It's hard to remember a time without him in our lives. He will be missed more than words can describe.

I went to a private school with Jack and Eddie for 7th and 8th grade. Jack was one of those people who could light up a room when he walked in. The Jack I knew was always smiling and laughing or making a joke. He was liked by so many because of his personality. My heart goes out to Mary and their children. God bless you all. Heaven awaits you my friend. Love Pat Morrissey Gardner
