Alfant, Milton, 92, of Indialantic, FL, died Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at William Childs Hospice House. He was the beloved husband of the late Beverly (Pernick) Alfant. Born in New York City, NY, a son of the late Max and Lena (Schrier) Alfant, he had lived in Indiatlantic, FL for seven years, previously living in New Bedford, MA. He was the owner of Mickey Madann Handbag, Inc. in New Bedford.  Milton was a World War II Army veteran, serving in the European Theatre. He was a member of the former Ahavath Achim Synagogue in New Bedford and a member of the Masons. Devoted father of Dr. Marc Alfant and his wife, Cathy, of Indialantic, FL and the late Nadine Engle and her husband, Carl, of North Dartmouth. Dear brother of two deceased brothers. Adored grandfather of Meredith, Mindy, Barnett and Zachary and his wife, Tristan. Cherished great grandfather of Alexander, Cameron, Luke, Bailey and Addison.

Graveside services will be held SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 4th at 11:00 a.m. in Plainville Cemetery, Old Plainville Road, New Bedford, MA. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to charity of your choice. Shiva will be private. For online condolences, please visit ShalomMemorialChapel.com.
